About the role

Build and maintain pixel-perfect, responsive UI components for Skaly's web platform. You will work with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS in a codebase that ships to real clients every week.

Why this role matters at Skaly

You won't be maintaining a legacy codebase for 5 years. Skaly ships new features weekly, and every line of code you write is used by real businesses in the Philippines and internationally.

What you will do

  • Implement UI designs from Figma into clean, accessible React components
  • Maintain and extend Skaly's component design system
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and data models
  • Write clean, typed TypeScript code following Skaly's code standards
  • Optimize page performance (Core Web Vitals, loading, bundle size)
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Debug and fix front-end bugs reported by QA or clients

What we are looking for

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of React and component-based architecture
  • Familiarity with Next.js or similar SSR/SSG frameworks
  • Basic understanding of TypeScript
  • Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser layouts
  • Good written English for async communication

Nice to have

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS v4
  • Framer Motion or animation libraries
  • Familiarity with Radix UI or headless component libraries
  • GitHub contributions or personal projects to show
